What is the difference between the types of solariums offered at Golden Tan Solarium?

Those who are new to tanning are best suited to the 15 minute bed. This is a lighter bed and is best suited to those who are starting out or for those who are in the process of building up a tan. More experienced tanners can choose between the 8 minute vertical stand up solariums and the 10 minute lay down solarium beds which are powerful solariums. The choice between the 8 minute stand up and the 10 minute bed is usually made on whether the customer prefers to stand or lay down. Those who do not want to tan the face are however best suited to the 10 minute lay down solarium as these allow the facial tanners to be turn off separately.

What do tanning accelerant creams do?

When applied before a tanning session, they allow the melanin in the skin to be more efficiently activated by the UV rays. This allows a tanner to develop a deeper tan whilst minimising the ultraviolet exposure.

How often can I visit the solarium?

You must not visit the solarium within 48 hour of previous ultraviolet exposure. After you visit the solarium, you must also avoid any form of ultraviolet exposure for another 48 hours. There are other considerations to be taken into account, ask the staff at Golden Tan Solarium and they will more specifically give you advice relative to your skin type and volume of exposure.

Can anybody use a solarium?

Solarium usage is prohibited for those who are under the age of 18 years as well as for those who have difficulty in tanning. Consult the staff at Golden Tan Solarium and the will assist you on determining if your skin type is prohibited from using solariums.

What do I need to bring?

Golden Tan Solarium will provide you will all you need for your visit to the solarium. Goggles, towels, deodorants and make up removers are available free of charge. Tanning accelerant creams can be purchased. All you need to do is remember to bring is your skin!
